Walk

Chaos in the City takes place on Leopold de Waelplaats, right in front of KMSKA. The entrance is on the Volkstraat side.

 

From the city center: via Nationalestraat or Marnixplaats

From Linkeroever: through the Sint-Annatunnel, or by Sint-Annaveer

From the Scheldekaaien: through Zuidpark

Bike

The fastest way in. There is additional bike parking available at Scheldekaaien Zuid.

Train

Antwerp has three main train stations that can get you close to KMSKA.

Antwerpen-Zuid
Around 20 minutes on foot to Leopold de Waelplaats.

Antwerpen-Centraal
Around 35 minutes on foot, or take tram 1 or bus P5 to the Bres stop.

Antwerpen-Berchem
Take tram 4 towards the city centre.

Check your route and last train home in advance.

Get off at:

Tropisch Instituut: tram 4, bus 18/18a/18b/18c, 22

Bres/Bestorming: tram 1 & 10, bus 13, 14, P5

Buy your ticket via the De Lijn app, tap your bank card, or text "DL" to 4884. €3 for 1 hour, valid on all trams & buses.

Boat

Coming from Linkeroever? Hop on the free Sint-Annaveer (4x/hour) from the ponton on Thonetlaan.

 

Coming from the harbour, Hemiksem or Kruibeke? Take DeWaterbus to Steenplein. Return ticket: €6 online, €7 on board.

Car & taxi

Skip the closures. Antwerp's Park + Ride network drops you close by, with direct trams to Scheldekaaien, Steenplein and MAS.

 

Direct connections:

P+R Linkeroever → bus P5 to Bres

P+R Luchtbal → tram 1 to Bres

P+R Olympiade → bus 18/18a/18b/18c to Tropisch Instituut

P+R Schoonselhof → tram 10 to Bres

Accessible parking

Use the existing disabled parking spots nearby, or park underground at Kooldok or Steendok. We recommend Waze or the Slim naar Antwerpen route planner for live updates on closures and traffic.
